Paper submission and review process

The target audience for this workshop are researchers and practitioners in the AutoUI/HCI community, who are interested in the field of automated driving. Beside that, we also invite HCI/UI designers (with affinity to the vehicle domain) and ADSs engineers. Submissions for the workshop (including author names and affiliations) are required to adhere to the CHI extended abstracts (EA) format.. We encourage participants to submit 1-4 page position papers (in CHI EA format) describing a crisp, self-contained problem or view in the field of the workshop. Successful submissions will have the potential to raise discussion, provide insights for other attendees, or illustrate problems and provide potential solutions. It is planned to accept a maximum number of 6 position papers.

All material must be submitted via Email to Katharina Frison on or before the submission deadline. Please feel free to contact the organizers at any time.

The selection of workshop participants will be done by a review process. To guarantee fair decisions, experts from the broader field of the workshop theme will serve as reviewers. Submissions need not to be anonymous. Final decisions of accepting or rejecting a paper will be made by the organizers of the workshop based on the review scores and with respect to offering all workshop participants an interesting, diversified program.
