Participants

Research and discussion on subliminal techniques would benefit from a significant collaborative effort from a range of disciplines. Therefore, the workshop on subliminal perception in cars is intended for researchers from the following fields:

  • Engineering,
  • Neuroscience,
  • Computer science,
  • Psychophysiology.
In more detail, it is for
  • HCI researchers working or interested in the automotive domain,
  • Automotive user interface (UI) designers and engineers both from a scientific, as well as from an industrial perspective,
Participating in the workshop is free of charge; however, at least one author of accepted papers needs to register for the Automotive UI conference (for details see www.auto-ui.org).

Paper submission

Interested workshop participants will have to submit a position paper (4-6 pages in length, ACM SIG Format templates) by using the Workshop paper submission system. The paper should contain a description of the area of research, specific work (empirical or theoretical) on the workshop topic, and the innovative character of the research.

The selection of workshop participants will be done by a review process. For that, experts from the broader field of subliminal information transmission and user interface design, as well as psychologists and HCI experts will act as reviewers. Submissions need not to be anonymous; however reviews will be done anonymously using an evaluation form.

Templates

Please format your paper according to the ACM SIG Format templates which can be downloaded at the ACM SIG Proceedings Template webpage. Submissions do not need to be anonymous.
