Paper submission and review process

Interested workshop participants have this year multiple options to submit their work:

  1. 4- to 6-page "full papers" (ACM SIGCHI extended abstract format)
  2. 1- to 4-page “radical, provocative, innovative” short position papers (ACM SIGCHI extended abstract format)
  3. Along with the (short) papers, authors are invited to submit additional material (design sketches, videos, images, posters, etc.)

All material must be uploaded to the OpenConf submission system on or before the submission deadline. The submitted work should contain a description of the area of research, specific work (empirical or theoretical) on the workshop topic, and the innovative character of the research. Submissions should be made electronically not later than August 8th, 2014 using the OpenConf paper submission system available here: Submit to AutoUI '14 workshop. Please feel free to contact the organizers at any time.

The selection of workshop participants will be done by a review process. To guarantee fair decisions, experts from the broader field of social interaction, automotive network design, psychology, and HCI community will serve as reviewers. Submissions need not to be anonymous; however reviews will be done anonymously using the evaluation form provided by the submission system.

Templates

Please format your paper according to the ACM SIGCHI extended abstract (EA) format. Templates can be downloaded at the ACM SIGCHI Conference Publications Format webpage. Submissions do not need to be anonymous.
