Short Biography

Franziska Hegner is a researcher associate at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) in the project of automated driving, since September 2018. She obtained her diploma in environmental engineering specializing in measurement technology from the University of Applied Sciences Jena in the year 2007. From 2008 to 2012 she worked at the research institute DESY in Hamburg as a technical employee in different research fields (ATLAS, FLC, TPC) and has done e.g. thermomechanical and cooling simulations. In May 2013, she graduated at the City University of Applied Sciences Bremen receiving her Master of Science in the field locomotion in bionic. From June 2013 to August 2018 Franziska worked at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg as a research associate in the field of flow control via bionic inspired micro-pillars and flaps and done different experiments about wall shear stress measurements for example inside an aorta.
